Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 November 2026

This privacy policy applies to Nuvrail (Android package and iOS bundle com.suyga.nuvrail), an app that controls which apps and services can reach the internet on your device, published by Suyga (https://suyga.com). "We" and "Suyga" refer to the publisher.

Summary

Local VPN

Nuvrail uses the VPN interface of your operating system (Android VpnService, iOS Network Extension) to build a local filter on your device. Packets and DNS queries of apps or services you have not allowed are dropped on the device. Nuvrail does not read, analyse, log or forward traffic content, and it keeps no history of domains or addresses you visit. There is no remote VPN server.

Allowed apps use your normal internet connection. Their own data processing is covered by their own privacy policies.

On iOS the filter works at DNS level. DNS queries for domains you allow are forwarded to the Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 resolver, which may process the queried domain and your IP address under its own policy (https://developers.cloudflare.com/1.1.1.1/privacy/public-dns-resolver/). Queries for blocked domains never leave the device.

Optional block log

The block log is off by default. If you turn it on, Nuvrail keeps the names of blocked domains, the time of each attempt and, on Android, the name of the blocked app, on your device only, for up to 24 hours and at most 500 entries. Allowed traffic is never logged and the log is never sent to us or anyone else. While the log is on, Android answers blocked apps’ DNS lookups locally so they can be recorded. You can clear the log at any time; turning it off deletes it.

Data stored on your device

The list of installed apps with their package names and internet permission (Android), the services you allow, saved profiles, focus and temporary-allow settings, language preference, onboarding state, your Plus purchase receipt and any time-limited reward are stored only on your device. Nuvrail does not send your rules or app list to our servers. Removing the app or clearing its data deletes this local data.

Remote settings

The Android app may fetch a small public settings file from https://suyga.com/api/apps/nuvrail/config.json (for example how many Plus minutes a rewarded ad gives). The request contains no account information or device identifier. Our server and hosting infrastructure process your IP address to answer the request.

Optional rewarded ads

A free user can watch a rewarded ad to unlock Plus features for a limited time on that device. Watching ads is never required to use the basic internet control, and users who bought Plus see no ads. Before the ad flow the app shows an explanation and, where required, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form. Ad requests depend on the consent result, and non-personalised ads are requested. Privacy options are available in Settings.

Google AdMob may process your IP address, approximate location, device or app-set identifiers, interactions and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. The Android advertising ID and Topics permissions are removed from the app manifest; this is not a guarantee that no other identifier is processed on older Android versions or by the SDK. Nuvrail never passes other apps' network traffic to AdMob. Google's terms apply: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

The iOS app contains no advertising SDK.

Purchases

The optional one-time purchase "Plus (lifetime)" is processed by Google Play or Apple. We do not receive your card details. Nuvrail only reads the purchase or entitlement status from the store (a signed receipt on Android, StoreKit on iOS) to unlock Plus. You can restore the purchase on a new device with the same store account.

Import and export

With Plus you can create a JSON backup of your allowed apps yourself. The file contains the package names of allowed apps. You decide where it is saved and shared; if you pick a cloud storage provider, the file is stored with that provider.

Deleting data

Turn protection off in the app or in your system VPN settings at any time. Uninstalling Nuvrail removes the VPN configuration and local data. Files you exported must be deleted separately. Store purchase records are kept by Google or Apple under their own rules.

Changes

If we change how data is processed, we will update this page and its date.
