Cookie Policy

Your choice: essential cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them. Analytics cookies are off until you accept them. You can change your choice at any time:

What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. Websites can also use browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB) to remember things on your device. In this policy “cookies” covers both. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Essential cookies

These keep you signed in and your account safe. They are set by suyga.com itself, so they need no consent under the rules that apply to us, and the site would not work without them.

Name	Purpose	Details	Lasts
`sid`	Keeps you signed in to your account.	First party, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure on HTTPS	14 days, or until you sign out
`did`	A random device identifier used to protect accounts and spot abuse such as many accounts on one device. It contains no personal details.	First party, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure on HTTPS. Set when you visit the site.	1 year
`bjvisitor`	Identifies your seat at shared Blackjack tables, including before you sign in.	First party, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure on HTTPS	30 days
`oauth_state`	Protects redirect-based social sign-in against forged requests.	First party, HttpOnly, only sent to `/api/auth/oauth/`	10 minutes

Browser storage

These items stay in your browser. They are not used to track you and are not sent to advertisers. Most are never sent to us.

Key	Purpose	Type
`suyga_consent_v1`	Remembers your analytics choice and when you made it.	localStorage, essential
`suyga_user_avatar:<id>`	Your chosen avatar picture. It is stored on your device only.	localStorage, preference
`suyga_sound_muted`, `suyga_music_muted`, `suyga_volume`	Your sound effects, music and volume settings.	localStorage, preference
`pisti_sfx`, `tavla_sfx`	Sound on/off for Pishti and Backgammon.	localStorage, preference
`tavla_token`	Lets you rejoin your Backgammon room after a dropped connection.	localStorage, essential
`suyga_guest_balance_blackjack`, `suyga_guest_blackjack_table_v1`	Practice Blackjack table and chips for visitors who are not signed in.	localStorage, essential
`suyga_announcements_closed`	Remembers which announcements you closed during this visit.	sessionStorage, preference
Game cache	The Poker game runs from downloaded files that your browser may cache in IndexedDB to load faster.	IndexedDB, essential
Firebase sign-in data	While you sign in with Google, Facebook or Apple, the Firebase sign-in library may keep temporary entries in IndexedDB. We sign out of Firebase straight afterwards.	IndexedDB, essential

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept analytics, we load Google’s Firebase Analytics. It sets first-party cookies to tell visits apart and count how the site is used.

Name	Purpose	Provider	Lasts
`_ga`	Distinguishes visitors to produce usage statistics.	Google Analytics (Firebase)	Up to 2 years
`_ga_<ID>`	Keeps session state for our analytics property.	Google Analytics (Firebase)	Up to 2 years

Events are tied to an internal numeric user ID when you are signed in, never to your email address or username. If you reject analytics, or withdraw consent later, collection stops and we remove these cookies from your browser where we can. See the Privacy Notice for how analytics data is used.

Content from other companies

Local storage. Your browser keeps small, non-identifying preferences on this device only: your cookie choice, the last room you opened (so the lounge can take you back to it), sound and avatar settings. Nothing in local storage is sent to Google or any advertiser.
Google Fonts. Our pages load the Cormorant Garamond and Jost fonts from Google. Google receives your IP address and browser details to deliver it. This does not set cookies on suyga.com.
Google, Facebook, Apple sign-in. If you choose one of these, the provider’s own pages and cookies apply while you sign in. Please read their policies.

Changing your choice

On Suyga: use here or in the footer of any page. Choose Accept or Reject at any time.
